Students up to class-VIII will get compulsory promotion by means of the provision of Right To Education Act 2009.

A student of class IX will be promoted to the next class if he gets the qualifying grades (i.e. A-D) in all the subjects as well as in Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). He/ She shall not be allowed to sit in the next class if he/she gets the non-qualifying grades i.e. E1 or E2.

As per rule of the Board, a student of class-X may be permitted to write Board Conducted SA-II only when he/she plans to leave the Board (i.e. CBSE) in class-XI. For that his/her parents have to give a written application stating the reason before 31st August of his/her academic session of class-X. Otherwise for all the students the school will fill up the form for school based SA-II only.

For the students of classes XI & XII there will be Two Terms. Minimum pass percentage in each subject is 33%. A student has to pass in written and practical examination separately, where ever applicable.

No student without a minimum of 75% of total attendance be allowed to appear in the Final Examination as well as Board Examination.

Student absent from an examination for any reason will not be re-examined.

Those absent from an examination because of illness must produce a Medical Certificate from an authorized doctor.

Unsatisfactory progress in studies, insufficient attendance, a serious misconduct, non payment of fee etc. & absence without proper leave application/permission constitute sufficient cause to debar a student from appearing in the Final Examination (including practical).

Regular tests are a feature, attendance for these is compulsory and final results are declared on the cumulative marks obtained throughout the year. Hence, attendance for all tests and exams is essential.

Promotion will be given in classes XI & XII on the basis of marks in theory & practical examination. A student must pass in each of the five subjects.

A student who uses unfair means during a test will be given zero marks for that subject. Repetition of the same will result in stern action.
